In 1957, Robert's second birthday was in the dining room of the new home at 930 Prospect Ave. Below, a few years later, c. 1961 or so the "boys" sport their new pajamas in the fireplace room next to Christmas stockings. Christmas 1955 was held at 435 Penobscot Street before the move.

Mom & Dad in Fall c.1966

Mom at Key West - 1967 She got her sea legs quickly; here we set sail in the squadron powerboat "The Phantom" commanded by two sailors. They cheerfully took mom, Cathy and me out to the 12 mile reef to fish; then a storm came up. Our ride home was so rough the boat sank in its mooring the next day. We caught no fish.

Richard still looks at home. 1961
Mom, Rob, me & Richard at Cog Railway New Hampshire, '61 - I worked this Summer as brakeman on the Cog, then owned by the Teague Family of Philadelphia. The following Summer I met Cathy who was a guest of the Teagues for the entire Summer.
This photo was taken Christmas of 1955. I had been given Tippy the previous August as "pick of the litter" for mucking out stalls and harnessing horses for a riding rental place near the Swett place on the Dixfield Road.
